I’m Larissa Rivera, founder of Journey All-Stars. Cheerleading has been a part of my life since 2003, and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to experience every level of the sport from 1 through 6 competitively. In high school, I cheered varsity all four years and earned First Team All-Conference. From there, I continued as an NCAA collegiate cheerleader — first on a full athletic scholarship to Notre Dame College, and later competing with The Ohio State University’s All-Girl team at NCA College Nationals.
I began coaching in 2012 and have loved every second of it. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes of all ages through competitive teams, private lessons, and tumbling instruction. I’ve choreographed award-winning routines, coached teams that earned national invitations, and focused on helping athletes grow through proper technique, tumbling progression, and stunt development.
Beyond the skills, I’m committed to building confidence in athletes and creating an environment where they feel supported. My own journey in cheer is what inspired me to open this gym — a place where the next generation of athletes can grow, excel, and reach their full potential.
